On the 19th day of sacrificial praying for my husband...

Listen, my son, accept what I say,
and the years of your life will be many.

I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.

When you walk, your steps will not be hampered:
when you run, you will not stumble
Proverbs 4:10-12 (NIV)

This one’s easy.  On the 19th day of sacrificial praying for my husband, I pray God will continue blessing my husband’s leadership of our family in spiritual growth, worship, and corporate prayer.

Every morning when we part, I utter to, or over My Beloved, "God's Peace be with you." Even on days when I'm annoyed, and not saying it to him directly. It is the legacy of our years worshiping in the Anglican church. (yeah, I'm Baptist, he isn't. Good Anglican wife that I am, my husband will be Anglican wherever and however he worships for the rest of his life. We know God. That is all that matters.)

I am grateful for the lessons he teaches and lives, and pray that no matter how marvelous things are, or not, he will continue to lead us in steadfastness of Faith.

And that is my prayer for him today and always. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
