I am at peace. I just said Yes.

I am at peace. I just said Yes.

That was the last line of the last thing I wrote Sunday night….and I meant it.

As much as I try to deny it, my temperament serves as the heartbeat of our family. When I am anxious, there is an unsettled spirit. When I am calm, even in the midst of chaos, there is a peace. Rather than resenting that role, I embrace it as an opportunity to be an influence.
I fully embrace this new peace. I’m trying something new.

Kirk Franklin sang this in my ear as I ran Monday morning….

I am so far from perfect
I thought life was worthless
Until You showed me who I am
Not here by mistake
No luck, only Grace
I'm on my way to
Who I am (not who I was), I am (forgiven and loved)
I am (healed by Your Blood), I am (yes)
I am (help me say) I am
