Ordinary…I have missed my tribe. Lately, I've been too sleepy to stay up late enough to get the prompt, and failing that, I write, publish, and go to bed. I've missed my people. So, hello again, peeps. I am back if you will have me.
Welcome to Five Minute Friday.
1. Write for 5 minutes flat--no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking (really).
2. Link back here and invite others to join in the fun.
3. Visit the person who linked up before you AND encourage them mightily in their comments.
Ready, Set, Write!!
Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jude 1:24 (AKJV)
It is how we are created-for the most part ordinary. It is probably the reason why we fantasize about superheroes and time travel and cosmic do-overs, because we are ORDINARY. Nothing wonderful ever happens in ORDINARY lives, because ORDINARY doesn’t have room for exceptional. Except that there is God.
God makes marvelous of the ORDINARY, not because of who or what we are, but because He IS. Through Him. We are able to not fall. Through Him, and through the gift of salvation, we are presented faultless before the presence of His Glory. Not because of us; we are ORDINARY, but we have never served an ORDINARY God.
We spend so much time stressing, worrying about the possible and the likely that we do not remember God, who is Perfect. Who is without flaw. Who has never been ORDINARY. NEVER.
