Day 2 of 31- Pray about it, and be still.

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4 (NIV)

Day 1 of 31-
Confess my dream and marry it to my will to pursue it.

Day 2 of 31-
Pray about it, and be still.

Dr. John Maxwell, in his book, Put Your Dream to the Test wrote that “You will fulfill your dream and live the life for which God created you only after you figure it out.”

My prayer is this,
…Lord, if bringing this book into the world is Your Will for my life, please sanctify both my efforts and that which You bring through me to be an instrument fit for Your use. I am praying. I will to be silent to hear You.

I remember reading the words of a Buddhist proverb, which explains,
if you are facing in the right direction, all you need to do is keep walking.
What I find so remarkable about knowing God is that the lessons are right in front of you. You simply have to be ready to receive them.  I see the message in the proverb… You Lord, are my point of orientation, my magnetic North. Once I commit to obedient surrender, once I submit to being broken as a living sacrifice, once I throw up my hands, I’m walking towards You.

Time to go be quiet.

Happy Sunday.
